Sarah Rossi

Pediatric Occupational Therapist Lead

What is your position at Brighton Center and how long have you worked for Brighton?
I am a occupational therapist and have been with Brighton for over a year.

What is one of the fondest memories you have while working with a child in the field at Brighton?
One of the fondest memories I have is of a “graduation day” for one of my children and being able to see the progress he had made in the time we had spent together. It was such a bittersweet moment for me. I was so excited and happy to see him moving on and making progress but it was definitely hard to say goodbye after all of the hours spent working with him and his family!

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is spending every day with children and their families.

What do you love most about working with children and their families?
What I love most is being able to empower parents to feel like they have the tools to help their children grow and flourish.

What inspires you?
Anyone who is working hard towards a goal. This could be a child determined to get across a room to get a toy so they learn to crawl or a professional athlete determined to win and be the best of the best.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I love playing soccer and I ran a marathon!

You must sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
“Like a Prayer” by Madonna
