Brighton Center been selected as the 7th best place to work in the large employer category, by San Antonio Business Journal! This year’s Best Places to Work class of 75 employers, organized across 4 categories, are raising the bar for providing work environments that promote job satisfaction and productivity. Brighton Center’s willingness to concentrate on the issues that matter to staff such as competitive salaries, great benefits, transparency, and opportunities for staff development all help keep staff excited to be a part of the team.
When asked to describe what the award meant to the agency, CEO, Kim Jefferies replied with “We are very intentional about creating a culture of inclusion, appreciation and genuine concern for our employees and their wellbeing. We know that without them being healthy and happy they can’t do the difficult work they do every day. Being recognized as a Top Workplace just reinforces that we are on the right path in properly serving our employees and the families that we work with.”
Danie Goehring, one of Brighton’s Early Intervention Specialists has been at Brighton for almost 25 years and she says that how the administration works with their staff is one of the many reason she has been at the organization for her entire career. “Over the many years I have been with Brighton, I have always been amazed at Brighton’s drive to hire the most qualified applicants and people that will be willing to work hard and share their knowledge. The managers and other administrative staff are all very friendly and always willing to share their knowledge. They show the staff the best ways for us to support Brighton and our mission Kids.
